These are the faces of ugly racism that cause Mayor Karen Bass to deny Black tenants housing services

Los Angeles. Numerous code violation complaints have requested a working intercom interface, accessible wheelchair height door viewer, and accessible parking stall. About six or more code enforcement inspectors have been on the property in the last six months. The below notice to comply is the best the city can come up with. You can see the notice is under the authority Mayor Karen Bass. The notice does not cite the owner for the lacking unit intercom interface, accessible height wheelchair, viewer, and accessible parking stall, nor does the order address any of the reasonable accommodations that have been requested. What causes the code enforcement inspectors to be so racist? Inspector Kelvin Martinez can be reached at 213–2 52–2 800 or 213–7 21–5810 or kelvin.martinez@lacity.org.
