Biased Judge Denies Request for Order to Show Cause

Commentary: Petitioner attempted to contact the Court by phone and letter to cancel the reserved Motion for Reconsideration. Nevertheless, no motion for reconsideration was ever filed. Then the court says, “Petitioner filed a declaration of March 18, 2024 and says this appears to be in support of the motion for reconsideration that was never filed.” First, an elementary review shows that the declaration filed is in support of a request for OTSC; even a grade child can tell the declaration is not a motion for reconsideration. If not for bias and ignorance, why would a Judge say a document refers to a motion that did not exist? The Court knows a motion for reconsideration cannot be filed unless the filed Judgment has been served on the parties; no such filed judgment had been served. Sounds like this Judge needs to be removed from the bench as he cannot read and comprehend English. The Judge is Stephen I. Goorvitch, determined to unjustly favor the state agency EDD.

Editor note: The Court initially granted the writ (judgment) which said the EDD owed the money. IMO I imagine the court had not read the papers so later, it said that it had never granted the petitioner the money. Read for yourself. In the final papers, neither the EDD or the CUIAB or the Court explained why the EDD money was denied (August 7 2020) then the EDD money was awarded (August 10, 2022) a few days later.
